On February 27, Security took center stage at two major events organized by SmartPress: the 13o Security Project 2026 and the 2ο Fire & Safety Forum, bringing together industry professionals to exchange knowledge, best practices and modern approaches to security in all its dimensions.
GEP had a strong presence at both events, participating in a panel discussion titled “A Holistic Approach to Security – Beyond Silos – ESG”, with speakers Spyros Primikyrios, Director of the Safety Engineers Division at GEP, and Eleftheria Gianni, Occupational Health Department Manager at GEP.
In addition, Spyros Primikyrios delivered a presentation titled “Empowering People: The Safety Engineer as a Catalyst for a Prevention Culture”, highlighting the critical role of prevention, training, and leadership in building a strong and sustainable Health & Safety culture.
