GEP highlighted the importance of prevention and integrating Health & Safety into the daily operations of businesses at an event held on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at the Trikala Chamber of Commerce, titled “Health & Safety with People at the Centre: From Responsibility to Compliance and Prevention.”
During the event, George Lambrinos, President & CEO of GEP and President of PASYMEP, stated:
“Health & Safety involves procedures and regulations, but above all, it is a culture and a way of life that accompanies us both as employees and as citizens. Our goal is to inspire and inform people so that, every day, they take another step forward for the Health & Safety of us all.”
The event also featured a presentation by Alexandros Sofianopoulos, General Manager of GEP, who explored the strategic role of Health & Safety in strengthening business resilience and sustainability. In addition, Spyros Primikyrios, Scientific Lead for Occupational Safety Technicians at GEP, presented practical tools for identifying and assessing risks in day-to-day business operations.
