As a particularly intense heatwave develops across Europe, forecasts indicate that part of the hot air masses are expected to move towards Greece as well. The presence of an extensive heat dome is expected to bring temperatures significantly above seasonal averages, initially affecting central and eastern Europe and subsequently the Balkan Peninsula.

Under these conditions, preventing heat stress in the workplace becomes particularly important. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures, especially during outdoor work or in hot indoor environments, can have a serious impact on workers’ health, safety and performance.
