GEP participated for the 9th consecutive year in the Delphi Economic Forum XI as the Health & Safety Partner, actively contributing to the creation of a safe and well-organized environment for delegates throughout the four-day Forum.

During the Forum, GEP President & CEO George Lambrinos took part in the panel “The Future of Work: Redefining the Human-Centric Workplace”, a highly relevant discussion on the key challenge ahead: how technological advancement and Artificial Intelligence can coexist with human well-being.

His contribution highlighted critical aspects of the modern workplace, focusing on the relationship between technology, performance and the human factor.

Key points from his contribution:

  • Artificial Intelligence: A New Dimension of Change
Today’s transformation is defined not only by its speed, but also by its scale and depth. People are required to adapt to an ever-changing environment, creating new forms of pressure.
  • Productivity and Well-being: A Sustainable Relationship
There is no fundamental conflict between performance and well-being, but rather between short-term and sustainable performance. Excessive pressure leads to results that are difficult to sustain over time.
  • A Human-Centric Workplace with Measurable Value
A people-centered approach is not simply a matter of corporate image; it is reflected in tangible outcomes, such as reduced absenteeism, talent retention and stronger organizational resilience.

GEP continues to actively contribute to the dialogue on the future of work, highlighting the importance of balancing technological progress with human well-being.

Panel members:

  • Konstantinos Karagkounis, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security
  • George Lambrinos, President & CEO, GEP
