The Safety Technician is the specialist who advises the company on Occupational Health & Safety issues, contributing to the prevention of occupational accidents and the creation of a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Visits & Inspections: Regular inspections of facilities, according to the visit schedule approved by the SEPE (Body of Labor Inspectors– GR)
- Risk Assessment: Identification of hazardous agents and suggestions for their prevention
- Advisory Guidance: Suggestions for the safe use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the proper organization of the workplace
- Accident Investigation: Analysis of causes, suggestions for corrective measures and their recording in the Instructions Book
- Training & Information: Provision of instructions on safety issues to employees and employers
- Confidentiality: Ensuring confidentiality regarding company information
