The Escape and Rescue Plan is a key point in preventing occupational hazards, and for highlighting the facility’s emergency plan and procedures.
What is an ERP
- It is a legislative requirement for the employer
- It is informative for the employees as well as visitors to a building or facility, and it is mandatory to be posted in appropriate locations in the workplace.
Legislative framework
According to Law 3850/2010 “Ratification of the Code of Laws for the Health and Safety of Workers” Article 30, the employer must draw up an escape and rescue plan from the workplace as needed, considering the location, the boundary and the type of operation.
Why GEP
GEP specialized scientific staff draws up the Rescue and Escape Plans, based on the design requirements of the ISO 23601 Standard as defined by the Fire Service Ordinance 15/2014, in accordance also with the approved Passive and Active Fire Protection studies for the premises.
