Seminar Objective
The seminar aims to provide the necessary knowledge and practical skills for the immediate and effective management of life-threatening emergencies, such as cardiac arrest and choking on a foreign object.
The training focuses on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the Heimlich maneuver for airway obstruction relief, in accordance with Law 5239/2025 on mandatory basic first aid training for personnel.

- Staff of companies and organizations
- Teachers and school staff
- Employees in public gathering spaces
- Members of first aid teams
- Any individual who wants to be able to save a life
No prior experience or first aid training is required.
Skills covered
- Recognition of cardiac arrest
- Immediate activation of EMS (EKAV)
- CPR in adults
- Recovery position (unconscious person with normal breathing)
- Choking management – foreign body airway obstruction
- Heimlich maneuver
GEP Instructors
The seminar is delivered by GEP’s team of certified healthcare professionals and experienced first aid instructors, with extensive experience in corporate and organizational training programs.
Training Method
The seminar is conducted in-person at GEP’s facilities in Thessaloniki, based on experiential learning and practical exercises.

The duration is 3 hours and full attendance is mandatory.
Assessment & Certification
Participants are assessed through continuous observation and practical skill application. Successful participants receive a CPR & Heimlich Maneuver Training Certificate from GEP, in accordance with Law 5239/2025.
