World Restart a Heart Day 2026 is observed on Friday 16 October 2026. It is a global initiative aimed at raising public awareness of cardiac arrest and training citizens in the prompt and timely application of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The key message of the day remains the same: “All citizens of the world can save a life”, as immediate intervention with three simple steps (Check, Call, Compress) until specialised help arrives is critical to the victim’s survival.
