Dear Readers,
GEP bids farewell to a year full of challenges, action and meaningful impact, reaffirming its role as a steady point of reference in the field of Health and Safety. The past months marked the tangible culmination of this journey, with a strong presence at landmark conferences and dialogue fora, the spotlight on critical issues of prevention and digital transformation, as well as initiatives that placed people at the center-both within and beyond the workplace.
At the core of our activities stood the strategic dialogue on the future of Occupational Health and Safety. Our participation in the 7th Occupational Health & Safety Conference as a Gold Sponsor was not merely symbolic, but substantive, with active contributions to discussions shaping the future of workplace safety. The same consistency in message and presence was reflected in the CEO Initiative, the YDC Annual Summit and through dedicated media features, bringing authentic leadership, sustainability and modern corporate responsibility to the forefront.
Knowledge and education once again formed the connecting thread of all our actions. From the free webinars held during the European Week for Safety and Health at Work, training over 2,500 participants, to certified First Aid seminars and Health & Safety Advisor training programs, we systematically invested in the dissemination of practical, applied knowledge. Within this context, Law 5239/2025 introduces significant changes to the regulatory framework of OHS-changes to which GEP responds proactively, informing and supporting organizations throughout this transition.
Our internal culture continues to stand out. For the third consecutive year, GEP has been certified as a Great Place to Work, a distinction that reflects the relationship of trust, collaboration and growth we share with our people, reaffirming our position as a leading employer in Greece. At the same time, the Silver Medal Award from EcoVadis places us among the top 15% of companies worldwide, recognizing outstanding performance in Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Sustainable Procurement and Business Ethics.
Our perspective extends beyond borders. At a pan-European level, through the StreamSTEP and Trineflex projects, we presented innovative actions supporting sustainable energy transition and safety in industrial facilities, while our participation in the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Conference further confirmed our commitment to continuous monitoring and alignment with international developments in the health sector.
As the year draws to a close, we return to where everything begins: People. For the 9th consecutive year, we hosted the Christmas Bazaar of PEK/AMEA, supporting vulnerable members of our society. In a warm, festive atmosphere, we also decorated our Christmas tree, filling our spaces with smiles and anticipation for the year ahead.
We wish you Happy Holidays and a New Year filled with health, purpose and meaningful progress for all.
