With the training, participants will be able to carry out tasks such as:

  • Rope progression and belaying
  • Reaching a working position with hands free
  • Lifting / lateral transportation / lowering loads
  • Rescuing colleagues in an emergency (in accordance with legislation)

The training for Level 3 Rope Access Technicians focuses on solving complex access problems, on preparing safety and health documents, as well as guiding Rope Access Technicians of Levels 1 and 2.

Who is this for?

IRATA training is aimed at workers who work in sectors such as:

  • Tall structures and confined spaces with difficult access
  • Telecommunications and electricity pylons
  • Tall trees, roofs and platforms without protective railings

Participation Requirements

Participation requires trainees to be in good health, without contraindications such as:

  • Cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, fear of heights
  • Alcohol or drug addiction, mental disorders

Training Method & Equipment

The training takes place in person at GEP contemporary suitable facilities, in accordance with BS8454 standards and Greek Legislation. It includes theoretical & practical training, while all the necessary equipment is provided.

Certification

After completing the training and passing the examinations, the own certificate is provided, valid for 3 years.
