Objectives

GWO Sea Survival training is essential for all those working in offshore installations, where safety is a priority. The program provides knowledge and practical skills for:

  • Safe transportation to and from wind turbines
  • Dealing with hazards during maritime operations
  • Survival techniques in adverse conditions at sea
  • Use of rescue equipment and abandonment procedures

Participants are trained both theoretically and in realistic simulated conditions in the water, enhancing their readiness to meet any challenge.

  • Swimming exercises with life jackets and special suits
  • Opening and using life raft – Embarkation & disembarkation procedure
  • Handling emergencies at sea

Why GEP

GEP ensures a completely safe and controlled training environment, adhering to all necessary protocols:

  • Supervision by a specialized lifeguard, with full equipment (medicine, defibrillator)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (lifejackets, suits, safety harnesses, carabiners) with ISO certification
  • Certified training equipment (ladder, truck crane, life raft)
  • Demarcation of training area with buoys, for increased safety
