Objectives
GWO Sea Survival training is essential for all those working in offshore installations, where safety is a priority. The program provides knowledge and practical skills for:
- Safe transportation to and from wind turbines
- Dealing with hazards during maritime operations
- Survival techniques in adverse conditions at sea
- Use of rescue equipment and abandonment procedures
Participants are trained both theoretically and in realistic simulated conditions in the water, enhancing their readiness to meet any challenge.
- Swimming exercises with life jackets and special suits
- Opening and using life raft – Embarkation & disembarkation procedure
- Handling emergencies at sea

GEP ensures a completely safe and controlled training environment, adhering to all necessary protocols:
- Supervision by a specialized lifeguard, with full equipment (medicine, defibrillator)
- Personal Protective Equipment (lifejackets, suits, safety harnesses, carabiners) with ISO certification
- Certified training equipment (ladder, truck crane, life raft)
- Demarcation of training area with buoys, for increased safety
