First Aid Skills is a practice of care, responsibility and humanity. Starting January 1, 2026, under New Law 5239/2025 (Article 39), employee training in First Aid becomes mandatory for all companies with more than 50 employees per facility.
Companies are required to train at least 50% of their staff through certified providers, with refresher training every three years. Special emphasis is placed on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the Heimlich maneuver, skills that can save lives.
Training with GEP
GEP is a certified training center accredited by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), offering the internationally recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) course with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use.
The program is delivered using a blended learning approach, combining:
- Asynchronous e-learning via the ERC’s COSY platform
- Practical in-person training of 5 hours
- Online pre-course test to prepare participants for hands-on practice

GEP’s BLS course fully meets legal requirements, offering practical training and skills that go beyond mere compliance, turning First Aid training into a strategic advantage for any organization.
Upon completion of the course and successful assessment, participants receive the internationally recognized BLS Provider certificate from the ERC, valid for three (3) years.
