Our motto is: “Two hands can save a life,” with the aim of raising awareness about cardiac arrest. By starting CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) before the ambulance arrives at the stage, we can save up to 200,000 more lives each year.

“Restart a Heart Day” was established by a declaration from the European Parliament in 2012 and takes place on October 16th each year. The initiative aims to improve the survival rate of patients experiencing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest by enhancing public awareness and training in CPR for cardiac arrest victims and in the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
