Retail stores are considered low-risk workplaces, as they are classified in the low-risk category (Category C) according to Greek legislation.
However, the risks that may arise, if appropriate measures are not taken, can have serious consequences for both employees and customers or third parties visiting the store.
The need for immediate customer service, the continuous restocking of displays with products, the need for optimal use of storage and sales areas, combined with the presence of third parties (customers – suppliers), creates a mixture of situations where, if proper precautions are not taken, risks with serious consequences are likely to emerge.
