The Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Security has issued an official circular titled “Emergency Measures for Addressing Heat Stress Among Private Sector Workers, Wednesday 9 July 2025.”
These urgent measures aim to protect the health and safety of employees and prevent heat-related illnesses in the context of extreme weather conditions.
The measures include:
- Mandatory suspension of outdoor work activities
- Implementation of remote work arrangements
- Adjustment and organization of working hours
