For Rope Access Work at Height

GEP, the leading Occupational Health & Safety company in Greece, proudly announces its certification as an official IRATA International Training Centre. IRATA International (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is the world’s leading authority for setting technical standards, offering certified training, and accrediting training centres for rope access professionals working at heights.

This certification was granted under the strict standards governing training delivery (Levels 1, 2, and 3), fully aligned with international safety protocols for working at height and rescue techniques as defined by IRATA International.

It is worth noting that GEP was also the first company in the sector in Greece to be certified as a training provider under the Global Wind Organization (GWO) standard. Since 2015, GEP has conducted over 2,000 training sessions for employees of companies active in the wind energy sector.

Mr. George Lambrinos, President & CEO of the GEP Group, stated:

“Remaining faithful to its vision, GEP continues to offer comprehensive Occupational Health & Safety services and to foster a solid safety culture in the workplace. With the IRATA certification, GEP is responding effectively to the modern OHS challenges across industries and demanding professions. We continue to expand dynamically, committed to delivering added value in the field of Occupational Health & Safety.”

He also added:

“Moreover, our GWO certification marks an important distinction for GEP, as it recognizes the high quality of our training programs in the wind energy sector, one of the most dynamic and progressive areas in the energy market. GEP is the reliable advisor and partner for every modern Greek business aiming to safeguard the health and safety of its workforce, following internationally recognized standards and best practices.”

With these certifications, GEP reaffirms its commitment to consistently delivering high-level training to its clients and partners, offering a holistic approach to safety, emergency procedures, and rescue techniques. Our aim is clear: a zero-accident workplace, with minimized risks across all operations.
