A Robust Presence of 500+ Executives, Businesses, Institutional and Government Representatives at the Anniversary Event
GEP, the leading company in the field of Health and Safety, celebrated 25 years of pioneering excellence, marking this milestone with a spectacular event at its headquarters on Thursday, June 19. The event, titled “GEP: A 25-Year Journey with a Destination Called People”, was much more than an anniversary celebration. It was a meaningful occasion to showcase the company’s journey and its vision for the future of Health and Safety in Greece.
The presence of the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, lent particular weight to the event. In his address, he emphasized: “The matter of health in general, and particularly the health and safety of employees, is of absolute importance to us,” highlighting the decisive role of Health and Safety in the future of productivity and social cohesion.
The Chairman and CEO of GEP, Mr. George Lambrinos, presented the company’s core values and vision: “Health and Safety reflects leadership. It means caring for our fellow human beings, demonstrating commitment to people, respect and culture. Employees should return home not only safe, but stronger and more empowered.”
A defining moment of the evening was the reflections shared by GEP’s founders, which illuminated the deeper mission behind the company’s creation. Mr. Manolis Velonakis underlined the profound social vision shaped through decades of major challenges – from the Olympic Games to the pandemic and the era of Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Dimitris Paschos shared emotional recollections, capturing the profound human values that inspired the founding of GEP and continue to guide its path today.
Greetings were also extended by Mr. George Tzilivakis, Governor of the Labour Inspectorate, and Mr. Konstantinos Agrapidas, General Director of Labour Relations & Occupational Health and Safety. The event was hosted by journalists Nikos Ypofantis and Dora Koutroukoi.
The program kept the audience’s interest unwavering, presenting GEP’s evolutionary course through milestones, collaborations, innovations, and ambitious initiatives for the future. Special distinctions were awarded to the two founders and to GEP employees who have completed 25 years of shared journey and contribution.
The evening culminated with the screening of a commemorative video highlighting the company’s 25-year legacy, followed by a live music performance by “Passepartout The Band”.
