On Thursday, October 26, in the context of the European Week for Safety and Health at Work, Mr. Giorgos Lambrinos, President & CEO of GEP, was featured on the morning show “Ora Ellados” on OPEN TV.

Mr. Lambrinos emphasized the importance of prevention and protection of employees from everyday workplace challenges and highlighted how a safe and healthy work environment contributes to improved quality of life and productivity.

In this context, he referred to the free training initiatives organized by GEP (October 23–26), which addressed topics such as psychological first aid, basic first aid, and fire safety. These actions provided training to 3,500 citizens, equipping them with essential, life-saving skills.

Mr. Lambrinos also stressed the social impact of these initiatives, noting that workers can transfer this knowledge beyond their companies and into the wider society. He underlined that Health & Safety must be a priority, and proper awareness is the first step toward meaningful change and improvement.
