GEP’s Instructors

The seminar will be delivered by GEP’s team of trainers, composed of healthcare professionals certified by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). All instructors are certified BLS-AED Providers and BLS-AED Instructors, with significant experience and specialization in First Aid training programs.

Training Format

The seminar takes place at GEP’s facilities and is certified by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). The training follows a blended-learning approach, with the theoretical part delivered via e-learning through the ERC platform and the practical part conducted at GEP’s ERC-certified Course Center in Marousi.

e-learning for Theory and Preparation

The course material is provided through the ERC’s official learning platform (ERC Course System – COSY). The main handbook is available in PDF format in Greek, while the remaining e-learning content is in English. Depending on their familiarity with the topic, participants are expected to spend 1 to 3 hours on the e-learning portion prior to the hands-on session.

Hands-on Training for Skill Practice

On the day of the seminar, participants will engage in practical skill training using simulation manikins and realistic training scenarios. This helps consolidate life-saving algorithms through repetition and hands-on application in real-life conditions. The in-person training duration is 5 hours, and full attendance is mandatory.

Assessment & Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED usage skills are assessed continuously throughout the seminar. Participants who successfully complete the evaluation will receive the ERC BLS/AED Provider certificate, which is internationally recognized and valid.
