GEP’s Instructors
The training will be delivered by GEP’s team of instructors, comprising ERC-certified healthcare professionals. The instructors hold BLS-AED Provider and BLS-AED Instructor certifications and have extensive experience and expertise in First Aid training programs.
Training Format
The seminar is delivered at GEP’s facilities, with certification from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). The training follows a blended-learning format, with the theoretical component delivered through e-learning on the ERC platform, while the practical component takes place at GEP’s ERC-certified Course Center in Marousi.
- E-learning for theoretical training and preparation
The seminar’s training materials are provided through the certification body’s ERC Course System (COSY) platform in PDF format and in Greek. The remaining e-learning training material is provided in English.
Depending on their level of familiarity, participants are expected to dedicate approximately 1 to 3 hours to the e-learning component before the practical training.
- Hands-on Practical Skills Training
On the day of the seminar, participants will practice their skills using simulation manikins and training scenarios designed to reinforce resuscitation algorithms through repetition and hands-on application in realistic simulations of real-life incidents.
The in-person training lasts 5 hours, and attendance is mandatory throughout the entire seminar.
Assessment & International Certification
Practical skills in Basic Life Support (BLS) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) are continuously assessed throughout the seminar. Participants who successfully complete the assessment receive the ERC BLS/AED Provider certificate from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), which is internationally recognized and valid.
