By starting CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) before the ambulance arrives at the stage, we can save up to 200,000 more lives each year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRestart a Heart Day\u201d was established by a declaration from the European Parliament in 2012 and takes place on October 16th each year. The initiative aims to improve the survival rate of patients experiencing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest by enhancing public awareness and training in CPR for cardiac arrest victims and in the use of
