Greece transposed this Directive into national legislation through Law 4990\/2022, which establishes a system for both internal and external reporting of violations, ensures whistleblower protection, and enforces strict penalties for non-compliance.[\/nectar_responsive_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Reports may concern issues such as public procurement, financial services, product and transport safety, environmental protection, food and public health, personal data protection, cybersecurity, and matters affecting the EU\u2019s financial interests or the functioning of the internal market.<\/p>\n

GEP\u2019s Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

Policy Development<\/strong>: Drafting of internal whistleblowing policies in compliance with EU Directive 2019\/1937 and Greek Law 4990\/2022.<\/p>\n
